The ATLAS AE_PROFI wide working width compact disc harrow is designed for processing large amounts of crop residues. It can be used on land after corn harvesting, for incorporating catch crops or organic fertilisers. The tandem axle in front of the first row of discs allows for even weight distribution and thus even pressure on both side frames, ensuring that the set working depth is maintained across the entire working width of the machine. The working width of the machine 10.4/12.4 meters is also suitable for controlled traction farming (CTF).

The ATLAS AE_PROFI product range is a range of robust wide working width compact disc harrow, which are suitable for processing large amounts of crop residues.
The ATLAS AE_PROFIwide working width compact disc harrows have disc sections arranged in an “X” shape. This innovative technical solution eliminates sideways movement of the machine, known as drifting. As a result, the disc harrow precisely follows the tractor’s tracks. The central double disc prevents the risk of ridges forming.
The heavy-duty ATLAS AE_PROFI wide working width disc harrows are designed to process large amounts of crop residues, especially for incorporating maize residues, catch crops, or organic matter. This series offers sufficient distance between the individual working sections for trouble-free operation and elimination of possible machine clogging, even when working behind wet conditions. In front of and at the rear of the disc section are 120 centimeters apart, and the distance between the discs and the rear axle of the packer is up to 120 cm. The frame’s clearance height of 70 centimeters ensures trouble-free passage.
ATLAS AE_PROFI is a fully ISOBUS compatible machine. The proprietary BEDNAR EASY CONTROL software allows for fully automatic folding and unfolding of the machine with a single button, and all working parameters can be set simply by entering values on the terminal. All settings, including working depth adjustment, can be conveniently adjusted even during operation, thus avoiding unwanted downtime.
The basis for high-quality tillage is maintaining the set working depth for uniform tillage of the soil profile. ATLAS AE_PROFI compact disc harrows have the same downforce on the discs across the entire working width of the machine, even at the edges of the harrow, thanks to the forward-mounted axle and the design of two folding side frames. The machine’s design reduces the number of hydraulic cylinders where pressure loss to the side frames could occur. This solution also contributes to a low number of lubrication points, reduces overall machine wear, and simplifies machine handling both in the field and during transport.
The heavy-duty ATLAS AE_PROFI compactdisc harrow is very maneuverable thanks to its design, even at headlands. The machine turns on headlands on rear rollers, front support wheels, and a transport axle. This solution eliminates negative load on the hitch and lightens the tractor when the machine is in the headland position.
Even with a working width of up to 12.4 meters, the ATLAS AE_PROFI wide working width compact disc harrow is very compact during transport, as it does not exceed a transport width of 3 meters and the height of the machine is less than 4 meters, even when equipped with double V-RING or U-RING rollers. These parameters are achieved primarily by folding the side frames forward onto the drawbar.
The CTF (controlled traffic farming) system is used to eliminate soil compaction and optimize the movement of individual units. When performing work operations, individual units move across the land in a given working width grid (6, 12, 18, 24 m, etc.), which prevents uneven consolidation across the entire land and instead creates track lines that are then easily subsoiled.
The ATLAS AE_PROFI wide working width compact disc harrow is connected to the tractor’s LOAD-SENSING hydraulic output using only three hoses. The adjustable pump then only delivers as much oil under pressure as needed by the specific task of the individual function; it is all completely automated. The system efficiently uses the pressure in the hydraulics and controls the individual functions that required high output.
