V-PRESSPACK VT_PROFI is a trailed roller. The working parts of the roller are solid packers with welded rings in the shape of an inverted V, designed mostly for soil reconsolidation after previous deep cultivation, with the aim to maintain moisture and prepare the field for seeding. The roller can be filled with water to considerably increase its consolidation effect.

The heavy trailed V-PRESSPACK VT_PROFI is suitable for intense clod crushing, field levelling, and reconsolidation thanks to the high weight of the rollers per metre of the working width.
The heavy trailed V-PRESSPACK VT_PROFI has a large ring diameter of 790 mm, which allows continuous work of the machine even in lighter soils, without creating waves. The sharp edges of the rings effectively crumble clods, even in the heaviest soils, and level the field.

The high weight of the heavy trailed V-PRESSPACK VT_PROFI closes soil to prevent the loss of moisture for the crop to be seeded. The weight of 285 kg/m can be increased up to 639 kg/m of the machine width by adding water to the rollers.
The shape of the roller and the requirements for consolidation are based on the suggestions of our customers. The centre of gravity of the roller is positioned in a way to meet the limit values of the rear drawbar load of the TERRALAND TO trailed subsoiler, both when empty and full, when roller is filled with water.

SEEDBED PREPARATION
Soil preparation is an important operation for creating a uniform and even seed bed in front of subsequent planting. Each crop and plot of land requires different soil preparation based on climatic conditions or the chosen preparation date. The aim of seedbed preparation is to create an ideal soil structure on the land with a harder bottom and a loose top layer, to level the soil relief after previous operations, and to open, warm, and aerate the soil profile for even plant emergence.
