V-PRESSPACK VT_PROFI is a detachable trailed packer. The working parts of the packer are solid rollers with welded rings in the shape of an inverted V, designed mostly for reverse soil compaction after previous deep cultivation, with the aim to maintain moisture and prepare the field for seeding. The packer can be filled with water to considerably increase its consolidation effect.
The heavy trailed V-PRESSPACK VT_PROFI is suitable for intense clod crushing, field levelling, and reverse consolidation thanks to the high weight of the packers per metre of the working width.
The heavy trailed V-PRESSPACK VT_PROFI has a large ring diameter of 800 mm, which allows continuous work of the machine even in lighter soils, without creating waves. The sharp edges of the rings effectively crumble clods, even in the heaviest soils, and level the field.
The shape of the packer and the requirements for consolidation are based on the suggestions of our customers. The centre of gravity of the packers is positioned in a way to meet the limit values of the rear drawbar load of the TERRALAND TO trailed chisel plough, both when empty and full, when packers are filled with water.
The high weight of the heavy trailed V-PRESSPACK VT_PROFI closes soil to prevent the loss of moisture for the crop to be seeded. The weight of 730 kg/m can be increased up to 1,200 kg/m of the machine width by adding water to the rollers.
The trailed packer is equipped with flexible scrapers, mounted between the individual rings, which are an important part of the machine equipment. The scrapers prevent material from sticking to the rings.
A concise summary of the main working parts of the trailed packer.
A robust frame with balanced weight that does not put excessive load on the drawbar of the aggregated machine.
Heavy steel rings with a diameter of 800 mm for perfect heavy soil crumbling and final surface consolidation. The packers are equipped with valves for filling and draining water.
Provides high packer stability during transport.
Soil preparation is an important operation for the formation of a uniform and balanced seedbed prior to crop establishment. Each crop and field requires different soil preparation based on the climate, or the chosen date of cultivation. The aim of the seedbed cultivation is to create an ideal soil structure in the field, with a harder bottom and loose top soil layer, to level the field after previous operations, and to open, warm up and aerate the soil profile for even crop emergence.Do you know how to prepare soil properly?
