The SEED BOX SB front mounted hopper is primarily designed for establishing crops in combination with a seed drill such as the CORSA CN or the KATARA KN_S, or to place fertiliser with the ROW-MASTER row cultivator. The pressurised design provides high precision dosing also for high amounts of seeds or fertiliser.

Overpressure is created in the hopper thanks to the airtight closure. This design increases the accuracy of seed and fertiliser dosing, even in cases of higher application amounts of seeds or fertiliser.
Our portfolio includes various types of seed metering rollers for the distribution of different fertiliser and seed sizes. We offer seed metering rollers from 30 cm³ to 790 cm³. You can use the SEED BOX SB for quick establishment of cereals, rape, legumes, including fertiliser placement.
Dosing and the front hopper control adjustment is very easy. The mounted SEED BOX SB hopper can be controlled via ISOBUS on the tractor monitor or through BEDNAR terminals.
The hopper can also be used in combination with the CORSA CN seed bar. This set offers great manoeuvrability thanks to its dimensions especially when establishing crop in smaller fields. Also, it offers an advantage when establishing crop in extreme or wet conditions where standard seed drills would not be able to work properly.
To place fertiliser during cultivation, or seeding catch crop in tilled rows, the front SEED BOX SB hopper can be combined with the ROW-MASTER row crop cultivator.
The hopper can be used with the KATARA KN_S seed drill combination, providing excellent manoeuvrability, optimal weight distribution, and ease of use. This seed drill combination excels in preparing a high-quality seedbed and seeding in a single pass, whether in tilled or partially tilled fields.
The front-mounted SEED BOX SB is shaped in a way that ensures safe work. The tractor cabin provides an excellent view of the space in front of the hopper, thanks to the inclination of its top part. The hopper is also equipped with lights for transport and efficient lighting for working at night.
The SEED BOX SB can be optionally equipped with application arms with electronic half-width shut-off function. This is a suitable equipment option, for example for fertiliser placement or catch crop seeding in one pass. The application arms can be easily detached and the SEED BOX can be used separately in combination with another machine type.
For a convenient connection between the front hopper and the machine, BEDNAR developed a side support arm that is mounted on the front hopper and maintains the hoses along the side of the tractor, facilitating the transport of seeds to the rear. This solution eliminates the need to select a specific tractor for the operations requiring a front hopper and to mount on it a custom-built frame with fixed hoses.

The single-chamber pressurised hopper with a total capacity of 1,600 litres provides precise dosing of high application amounts and seeds.
The side support arm provides easy connection of the hoses from the front hopper to the machine.
The front V-RING roller offers a better weight distribution. Instead of being lifted by the tractor, the front hopper rolls on the field and consolidates the soil between the wheels of the tractor.
The front LED lights of the hopper provide safe transport on the road. Two additional work-lights can also be ordered for the field.
The pressure pushes fertiliser through the metering unit. Thanks to this design, SEED-BOX can apply even lower-quality fertilisers or higher amounts of fertiliser in a better and more precise way.
The side support arm is mounted on the front hopper and maintains the hoses along the side of the tractor, facilitating the transport of seeds to the rear. It can be easily removed if needed and can be adjusted to the size of the tractor.
The front V-RING packer offers a better weight distribution of the tractor, when working in the field. PROFILE FERTILISATION
The placement of fertiliser into the soil environment known as profile fertilisation should be carried out together with deep loosening using FENIX tine cultivators, ACTROS combination cultivators or TERRALAND subsoilers. Such precisely placed fertiliser motivates the root system to grow faster and bigger which helps solve current issues with soil moisture. This fertiliser placement system is most often used for establishing deep-rooting crops such as corn, sugar beet or rape.
