The ACTROS RO GEN II combination cultivator provides two operations in one pass. The two front rows of discs with a large diameter of 690 × 6 mm provide excellent cutting and shallow mixing of crop residue with soil, and the two rows of tines behind ensure intense loosening up to a depth of 35 centimetres. The whole process is completed with the final levelling and surface consolidation using a packer.

The efficient combination of a disc and tine section provides two operations in one pass. The high machine clearance, and the spacing of the individual discs and tines are specifically designed for incorporation of large quantities of organic matter in the form of catch crop, crop residue, or manure.
The ACTROS RO is equipped with a hydraulic drawbar. This design is used as it provides an excellent attachment and operation for the tractor, and above all, improves the quality of work because the combination cultivator follows the terrain contours perfectly.
The ACTROS RO GEN II combination cultivator is especially designed for processing large quantities of crop residue, for example, after grain maize. The ACTROS RO GEN II cultivator is equipped with two rows of large notched discs with a diameter of 690 × 6 mm which provide excellent cutting and incorporation of crop residue up to a depth of 16 centimetres. The spacing of the individual discs in the row is 42.5 cm, ensuring trouble-free work with high throughput.
ACTROS RO GEN II has each disc on one arm. The disc arms are made of cast iron. This allows for a greater weight per disc, which penetrates the soil better and cuts plant residues.
Bearings specially developed for agricultural use, designed for longer service life, containing a double row angular contact ball bearing sealed with two static and one dynamic cartridge seal with four sealing ribs and running in a solid metal housing. The bearings are attached to the disc with 6 bolts.
Each tine is bolted (not welded) to the main frame of the ACTROS RO GEN II by means of a solid bracket. The advantage of this design lies in the high durability of the brackets and the supporting frame. In case of any damage, each bracket can be easily replaced. Each tine is firmly located and its geometry works within accurately defined limits without oscillations and lift.
For the intense loosening effect, the ACTROS RO GEN II combination cultivator is equipped with two rows of ACTIVE-MIX tines. The ACTIVE-MIX tines provide cultivation up to a depth of 35 centimetres. In one pass, the soil profile is both loosened in depth and intensely mixed.
This type of protection is suitable for medium to heavy soil containing a small amount of stones. The release force is 500 kg.
This type of protection is the ideal solution for dry, heavy soils with a higher concentration of stones. The release force is 660 kg.
Rear packers might get clogged when cultivating heavy soil in the late season or working in extreme conditions. The integrated axle and the placement of the second row of tines behind the axle makes it possible to use ACTROS RO GEN II in wet conditions, as the rear packers can be easily disconnected or lifted. The integrated axle also enhances turning at headland, continuous approach into the next working section and transport.
The ACTROS RO GEN II levelling section following the second row of tines can be equipped with two types of working tools. The available attachments includes levelling discs with hydraulic control. There are also simple levelling springs with mechanical control; hydraulic control is available on request. This section levels the ridges behind the tine section and levels the surface before it is compacted by the rear packers.
The FERTI-BOX FB_F front mounted hopper is primarily designed to supply fertilisation directly in the soil profile and has a capacity of 1,900-2,200 litres. Fertiliser is pneumatically distributed from the front hopper to the distribution head mounted on the combined cultivator.
The FERTI-CART FC is trailed cart which has a capacity of 3,500 litres. The opening of the plastic hopper has a large inclination which allows it apply lower-quality fertilisers.
The COMBO SYSTEM CS is a trailed cart with two tanks which have a total capacity of 5,000 litres. The cart design allows the application of two types of fertiliser in one pass, or use both tanks for one fertiliser.
The ACTROS RO 4000 R GEN II can be equipped with a 2,800 l hopper. The hopper is placed on the main frame of the machine. Under the pressurised hopper is a stainless steel metering unit that allows doses of up to 500 kg/ha depending on the working speed.
The ACTROS RO GEN II combination cultivator can be equipped with the BEDNAR ALFA DRILL seeder during the production process, for seeding catch crop and small-seed plants during stubble cultivation, all in one pass. The time and fuel savings are considerable.The ALFA DRILL seeder has the same metering unit as the BEDNAR seed drills. Even seed/fertiliser distribution is ensured by the distribution head. The ALFA DRILL has a volume of 400 l.

The integrated axle is mounted between two rows of tines. This structural design lets you work with the ACTROS RO combined cultivator in extreme conditions because the rear packer can be easily disconnected or lifted.
The reinforced LONG-LIFE chisels with an extended service life are fitted with carbide tips. The durability of such chisels is multiple times longer, namely in abrasive soils. The time spent replacing chisels can be thus used more efficiently.
The system of profile fertilisation is one of the most efficient methods to maintain a sufficiently balanced nutrient supply in soil, not only in the arable horizon, but also in deeper layers of the soil profile. DEEP SOIL CULTIVATION
Deep soil cultivation has its proven advantages, and it can completely replace standard tillage when carried out at the right time and in the right way. Deep cultivation enables root systems to develop, disrupts compacted layers and the plough basin, and creates optimal soil environment for proper functional water and air conditions of soil. BEDNAR machines can carry out deep loosening up to the maximum depth of 65 centimetres. It is recommended to add profile fertilisation in one pass, to provide soil with essential nutrients.
