V-PRESSPACK VT_PROFI is a detachable trailed packer. The working parts of the packer are solid rollers with welded rings in the shape of an inverted V, designed mostly for reverse soil compaction after previous deep cultivation, with the aim to maintain moisture and prepare the field for seeding. The packer can be filled with water to considerably increase its consolidation effect.

The heavy trailed V-PRESSPACK VT_PROFI is suitable for intense clod crushing, field levelling, and reverse consolidation thanks to the high weight of the packers per metre of the working width.
The heavy trailed V-PRESSPACK VT_PROFI has a large ring diameter of 31″, which allows continuous work of the roller even in lighter soils, without creating waves. The sharp edges of the rings effectively crumble clods, even in the heaviest soils, and level the field.
The high weight of the heavy trailed V-PRESSPACK VT_PROFI closes soil to prevent the loss of moisture for the crop to be seeded. The weight of 285 kg/m can be increased up to 639 kg/m of the machine width by adding water to the rollers.
The shape of the packer and the requirements for consolidation are based on the suggestions of our customers. The centre of gravity of the packers is positioned in a way to meet the limit values of the rear drawbar load of the TERRALAND TO trailed chisel plough, both when empty and full, when packers are filled with water.

SEEDBED CULTIVATION
Soil preparation is an important operation for the formation of a uniform and balanced seedbed prior to crop establishment. Each crop and field requires different soil preparation based on the climate, or the chosen date of cultivation. The aim of the seedbed cultivation is to create an ideal soil structure in the field, with a harder bottom and loose top soil layer, to level the field after previous operations, and to open, warm up and aerate the soil profile for even crop emergence.
