GALAXY GE is a trailed roller that provides outstanding clod crumbling and soil reconsolidation. When used in combination with the front Crushbar levelling bar, it also ensures high-quality levelling of the rough furrow.

HIGH QUALITY CAST-IRON RINGS

Designed for the hardest conditions.

BEDNAR employs rings made of high-strength, quality cast steel in GALAXY GE rollers. The cast steel exhibits minimal wear and can endure rocky conditions over the long term.

HYDRAULIC DOWN PRESSURE ON SECTIONS

Always the same pressure on each working section.

The individual sections of the GALAXY GE roller overlap, enabling independent surface contouring with continuous down pressure on each working section, thanks to the hydraulic system. The hydraulic down pressure of the sections ensures even weight distribution among them.

COMPRESSING SPRING

A smart solution that eliminates slackness between the individual rings.

Our experience with rollers has shown that the more acres the roller has worked, the more slackness there is between the individual rings. BEDNAR has developed a simple and functional solution to address this issue. The spring on the shaft consistently applies pressure to the individual rings, preventing slackness. This design ensures that the rollers can operate for many acres without maintenance, which is typically necessary to push the rings back into their original position.

CRUSHBAR LEVELLING BAR

For even levelling of the rough furrow.

Crushbar is a hydraulically controlled, front levelling bar consisting of broad paddles that work on rods made of quality spring steel. The hydraulic control from the tractor cabin allows the operator to quickly change the aggressiveness of work according to the conditions so that the Crushbar levelling bar can create a levelled field.

STORAGE SPACE FOR ROCKS

A design that saves time.

The roller can be equipped, on request, with a sufficiently large storage space for rocks. It eliminates the need to spend time picking up rocks. This job can be performed effectively at the same time.

ALFA DRIL SEEDER

Application of microgranulate or seeds in one pass.

The BEDNAR ALFA DRILL can be installed on the GALAGY GE roller, as standard, for cover crop seeding, fine seeds or for applying microgranulate. In one pass, the soil profile is levelled and seeds are sown or the fertilizer is applied. The seeder has a capacity of 22 bu.

COMPRESSING SPRING

The spring on the shaft of the GALAXY GE roller exerts continuous pressure on the individual rings. This prevents the formation of slackness. The roller can work many hectares without maintenance, which is usually required to push the rings into the original position.

CRUSHBAR LEVELLING BAR

The front hydraulic Crushbar allows the operator to ideally adjust the working angle of the levelling bar, according to the field conditions, from the comfort of the cabin. It is possible to achieve savings of up to 0,11 gallons of diesel per acre with the Crushbar.

Other

ALFA-DRILL SEEDER 800

It is used for seeding cover crops, grasses, or for all-area fertilizer application. You can do two operations in one pass and reduce your costs.

Tractor track eradicators

The track eradicators consist of two sweeps on each side. Each shank is protected with a spring. The track eradicators are used for loosening hardened tracks created by the tractor.

SEEDBED PREPARATION
Seedbed preparation is an important operation for the formation of a uniform and balanced seedbed prior to crop establishment. Each crop and field requires different seedbed preparation based on the climate, or the chosen date of tillage. The aim of the seedbed preparation is to create an ideal soil structure in the field, with a harder bottom and loose top soil layer, to level the field after previous operations, and to open, warm up and aerate the soil profile for even crop emergence.
