A FRONT-MOUNTED TANK FOR FERTILIZER APPLICATION IN ONE PASS

FERTI-BOX FB_F is a single tank with a capacity of 54 bu. The FERTI-BOX FB_F Dual model provides two hoppers with a capacity of 62 bu, each at the ratio of 40:60. The front tank is suitable for connection with mounted or trailed implements using the rear three-point hitch of the tractor.

The front-mounted FERTI-BOX FB_F and FB_F Dual can be used for fertilizers placement in combination with implements for deep tillage such as TERRALAND TN or TN_PROFI chisel ploughs. The dual hopper model can be used for variable of two types of fertilizer.

The front-mounted FERTI-BOX FB_F and FB_F Dual can be also used in strip tillage when fertilizer is applied into the soil profile in combination with STRIP-MASTER EN or TERRASTRIP ZN cultivators.

The tank can also be used for seeds in combination with the CORSA CN seed bar. The dual hopper model, FB_F Dual, offers an interesting option of applying two types of seeds, or seeding together with supplementary fertilization, when fertilizer can be placed in every other row, or mixed with seeds in the distribution pipes.

To apply fertilizer during tillage, or seeding cover crop in cultivated mid rows, the front FERTI-BOX FB_F tank can be combined with the ROW-MASTER cultivator.

The dual hopper model, front-mounted FERTI-BOX FB_F Dual tank is especially suitable for application of two types of fertilizer. The tank is divided in the ratio of 40:60. Thanks to the two metering units, the application dose can be set individually for each type of fertilizer.

PRESSURISED TANK MODEL

Increases precision and provides applications of high amounts.

Overpressure is created in the tank thanks to the airtight closure. The pressurised design increases the quality of fertilizer dosing precision, even in the case of higher application amounts, or lower-quality fertilizer.

Our line includes various types of seeding rollers for the application of different fertilizer and seed sizes. We offer seeding rollers from 1.8 cubic in to 48.2 cubic in. You can use the FERTI-BOX FB for quick establishment of cereals, canola, legumes, including fertilizer application.

EASY CONTROL

Using BEDNAR ISOBUS systems or terminals.

Setting the batches and tank control is very easy. The FERTI-BOX FB mounted tank can be controlled using ISOBUS on the tractor display, or using BEDNAR terminals, starting with the ME TOUCH SMART 570 terminal to ME TOUCH 800 with a touch display and a diagonal measurement of 8″.

EXCELLENT VISIBILITY

Safe both in the field and on the road.

Front-mounted FERTI-BOX FB_F tanks are shaped in a way that ensures safe work. The tractor cabin provides an excellent view of the space in front of the tank, thanks to the inclination of its top part. The tank is also equipped with lights for transport and efficient lighting for working at night.

The BEDNAR developers have designed a mobile phone app that makes it simple to calibrate a mounted hopper right from your mobile phone. The mobile app also includes a guide to help you choose the right seeding roller based on the seed/fertilizer type, working speed and seed rate.

ONE OR TWO OUTLETS

For even greater versatility.

The front-mounted FERTI-BOX FB_F / FB_F Dual tanks feature a single outlet from the metering mechanism as part of their basic equipment. In order to use the function of switching off half of the working width of the machine, for example, in connection with the CORSA CN or KATARA KN_S seeding bar, two outlets can be utilised.

CAMERAS AS EYES

Safety is important to us.

For better visibility, we have equipped the FERTI-BOX front tank with a system of cameras placed on the right and left side of the tank. The cameras are positioned under the transport lighting and are the operator’s eyes – they provide an excellent view in front of the front tank for maximum safety.

Pressurised tank

The single/dual hopper pressurised tank with a total capacity of 54 – 62 bu provides precise dosing of high amounts of fertilizer.

Transport lighting

The front LED transport lighting ensures safe transport and excellent visibility on the road. For field work, the tank can be equipped with additional lighting.

Camera system

The camera system (one camera on each side) provides an excellent view in front of the front tank for maximum safety.

Fan

The fan is used to create an air flow that transports the fertilizer/seed to the distribution tower of the tillage or seeding implement.

Additional weight

The additional weight adds weight to the front tank and increases the weight on the front of the tractor. The additional weight is particularly suitable for work in combination with heavy implements in the rear three-point tractor hitch.

Front packer

The front tire packer fills in the gap between the tractor tracks. It is also used for reducing the load on the front three-point hitch of the tractor.

OUR INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES

PRESSURIZED TANK

The pressure pushes fertilizer through the metering unit. Thanks to this design, FERTI-BOX can apply even lower quality fertilizers or higher amounts of fertilizers in a better and more precise way.

REMOTE FARM LINK CALIBRATION

The BEDNAR FARM LINK mobile app allows operators to calibrate the metering unit and enter calibration values directly from the machine without having to enter the tractor cab and use the terminal.

AGRONOMICAL GUIDE

SOIL PROFILE FERTILIZATION
The application of fertilizer into the soil environment known as profile fertilization should be carried out together with depth loosening using FENIX field cultivators, combined ACTROS disc shank cultivators or TERRALAND chisel ploughs. Such precisely placed fertilizer motivates the root system to grow faster and bigger which helps solve current issues with soil moisture. This fertilizer placement system is most often used for establishing deep-rooting crops such as corn, sugar beet or canola.
