The SWIFTERDISC disc cultivators are among the best-selling BEDNAR machines. It is a proven and high-quality range of our portfolio. With working width from 1.75 to 18.4 metres, they cover the needs of all customers.

DISCS FOR ALL CONDITIONS

The disc cultivators can be equipped with discs with a diameter of 520 or 560 mm. Standard notched discs, or specially shaped aggressive discs that offer a higher cutting and mixing effect are available. For a better durability, especially in abrasive soils, we also offer the ENDURANCE discs and their hard edges.

TWIN-DISC SYSTEM

One arm for two discs provides twice as much space for high throughput of material. Harvest residues can easily flow through the machine, especially when working in wet conditions or processing large quantities of residues.

DISC PROTECTION WITH RUBBER SEGMENTS

The mounting of two discs with a single arm provides twice as much space for the rubber segments protection. The rubber segments absorb the shocks generated during tillage.

X DISC ARRANGEMENT (X-PRECISE SYSTEM)

The arrangement of the disc sections in a “X” shape guarantees precise following of the machine in the tractor track. The working width of the disc cultivator is fully used and the machine does not drift.

HYDRAULIC DRAWBAR

The height-adjustable drawbar is equipped with a hydraulic cylinder for smooth ground contouring during work and easy connection to different types of tractor hitches.

FRONT ACCESSORIES

The SWIFTERDISC disc cultivator can be equipped with front working equipment to increase their versatility and to use them throughout the year. A hydraulically adjustable Crushbar front levelling board or Trash Cutter roller are available.

ALFA DRILL SEEDING UNIT

For quality, fast and cheap cover crops seeding after the harvest, the SWIFTERDISC cultivators can be equipped from the factory with an ALFA DRILL seeding unit with a capacity of 400 or 800 litres.

TWO SIDE FRAMES FOLDING SYSTEM

The wide working disc cultivators offer a folding concept into two frames since 2008. The two side frames are folded forward on the drawbar, offering fast folding, compact dimensions for transport and reduces the total number of hydraulic cylinders.

EASIEST CONTROL SYSTEM ON THE MARKET

SWIFTERDISC XE_PROFI is available with an electro-hydraulic control system (BEDNAR EASY ELECTRO-HYDRAULIC SYSTEM). The working depth is set from the tractor cab via the tractor terminal or an independent terminal. The working depth can be changed continuously during the work.

PARALLELOGRAM OF REAR PACKERS

In case of double packers (double V-RING, double U-RING), BEDNAR offers a proven parallelogram connection concept to ensure that both packers apply the same pressure on the ground. The consolidation of the soil is thus uniform throughout the machine working width.
