FRONT PRESSURISED TANK FOR SEED AND FERTILIZER DISTRIBUTION

The SEED BOX SB front mounted tank is primarily designed for establishing crops in combination with the CORSA CN seed bar, Katara KN_S seeding combination or cover crop in the mid rows with the ROW-MASTER row crop cultivator. The pressurised design provides high precision in dosing also in cases of high amounts of seeds or fertilizer.

PRESSURISED TANK MODEL

Overpressure is created in the tank thanks to the airtight closure. This design increases the quality of seed and fertilizer dosing precision, even in cases of higher application amounts of seeds or fertilizer.

Our line includes various types of seeding rollers for the application of different fertilizer and seed sizes. We offer seeding rollers from 1.8 cubic in to 48.2 cubic in. You can use the SEED BOX SB for quick establishment of cereals, canola, legumes, including fertiliser application.

EASY CONTROL

Using BEDNAR ISOBUS systems or terminals.

Setting the doses and the front tank control is very easy. The mounted SEED BOX SB tank can be controlled via ISOBUS on the tractor monitor or through BEDNAR terminals.

The tank can also be used in combination with the CORSA CN seed bar. This set offers great manoeuvrability thanks to its dimensions especially when establishing crop in smaller fields. Also, it offers an advantage when establishing crop in extreme or muddy conditions where standard seed drills would not be able to work properly.

To apply fertilizer during cultivation, or seeding cover crop in cultivated mid rows, the front SEED BOX SB tank can be combined with the ROW-MASTER row crop cultivator.

The tank can be used with the KATARA KN_S seed drill combination, providing excellent manoeuvrability, optimal weight distribution, and ease of use. This seed drill combination excels in preparing a high-quality seedbed and seeding in a single pass, whether in ploughed or partially tilled fields.

Safe both in the field and on the road.

The front-mounted SEED BOX SB is shaped in a way that ensures safe work. The tractor cabin provides an excellent view of the space in front of the tank, thanks to the inclination of its top part. The tank is also equipped with lights for transport and efficient lighting for working at night.

APPLICATION OF FERTILIZER WITH BOOM

A unique equipment option.

The SEED BOX SB can be optionally equipped with application boom with electronic half-width shut-off function. This is a suitable equipment option, for example for fertilizer or cover crop application in one pass. The application boom can be easily detached and the SEED BOX can be used separately in combination with another implements.

SIDE SUPPORT ARM FOR HOSES

For a convenient connection between the front hopper and the rear machine

For a convenient connection between the front hopper and the rear machine, BEDNAR developed a side support arm that is mounted on the front hopper and maintains the hoses along the side of the tractor, facilitating the transport of seeds to the rear. This solution eliminates the need to select a specific tractor for the operations requiring a front hopper and to mount on it a custom-built frame with fixed hoses.

Pressurised tank

The single pressurised tank with a total capacity of 44 bu provides precise dosing of high application amounts and seeds.

Side support arm

The side support arm provides easy connection of the hoses from the front hopper to the rear machine.

V-RING roller

The front V-RING roller offers a better weight distribution. Instead of being lifted by the tractor, the front hopper rolls on the field and consolidates the soil between the wheels of the tractor.

Lights

The front LED lights of the tank provide safe transport on the road. Two additional work-lights can also be ordered for the field.

SOIL PROFILE FERTILIZATION
The application of fertilizer into the soil environment known as profile fertilization should be carried out together with depth loosening using FENIX field cultivators, combined ACTROS disc shank cultivators or TERRALAND chisel ploughs. Such precisely placed fertilizer motivates the root system to grow faster and bigger which helps solve current issues with soil moisture. This fertilizer placement system is most often used for establishing deep-rooting crops such as corn, sugar beet or canola.
