INTRODUCING THE SECTION

The disc rippers combines two operations in one pass. It is suitable for incorporating large quantities of trash and organic matter, in combination with reviving the soil profile. For this operation, we offer the TERRALAND DO disc ripper.

WHAT TO USE A DISC RIPPER?

The disc rippers combines blade and shank gangs. The blade gang cuts and mixes crop residue with the topsoil layer. The shank gang provides deep tillage (ripping), up to a depth of 18″.

This type of implement is suitable for intense tillage within minimum tillage technology.

MAIN ADVANTAGES OF THE TERRALAND DO DISC RIPPER

The TERRALAND DO can process soil up to a depth of 18″ thanks to the extremely robust basic frame. The shank gang can be equipped with two types of shanks: Active-Mix for deep loosening including mixing, and Zero-Mix for soil aeration and disruption of hardened particles without active mixing.

If needed, the front blade section can be deactivated, and only deep loosening or ripping can be done.

The TERRALAND DO COMBINED DISC RIPPER

The TERRALAND DO disc rippers are designed for connection with the most powerful tractors on the market and they are manufactured in three versions, with a working width from 13′ 5″ to 21′. The smart structural design of the TERRALAND DO disc ripper makes it possible to deactivate every other shank.

By deactivating the shanks, it is possible to do ridge tillage before establishing row crops, or reduce the power demand when conditions are difficult.
