SWIFTERDISC XN_Z is a model range of mounted high speed discs which are available in working widths of 13′ 1″, 16′ 5″ and 19′ 8″. The SWIFTERDISC XN_Z model was developed as a short disc cultivator with a galvanized surface intended for slurry application behind trailed or self-propelled slurry tankers. This model offers the possibility of equipping the machine with disc diameters of up to 560 mm. SWIFTERDISC XN_Z disc harrow is equipped with hydraulic working depth adjustment as standard.

The SWIFTERDISC XN_Z compact disc harrow (applicator) cultivates the soil and applies slurry in one pass. This prevents liquid manure loss through evaporation and eliminates slurry emissions into the environment.
BEDNAR has extensive experience with aggressive environments in crop production. It is thanks to the galvanized surface treatment of MULCHER rotary cutters that these cutters have become one of the most popular in the world. This positive experience combined with high durability led to the decision to produce the SWIFTERDISC XN_Z applicator only in the galvanized version.
The SWIFTERDISC XN_Z applicator is equipped with the most modern VOGELSANG DOSIMAT DMX570 24-50 distribution tower. VOGELSANG allows precise distribution of nutrients with a distribution coefficient of less than 5%. Quick and easy connection to the slurry tanker.
The application tips are located in the first row of the blade gang. The tips are directed into the groove created by the blade. The application of slurry with simultaneous incorporation in a single pass reduces the number of passes, saves time and money, and meets the legislative requirements for slurry incorporation.
The applicator SWIFTERDISC XN_Z brings operators even more options to choose from. The standard configuration of the SWIFTERDISC XN_Z applicator includes blades with a diameter of 20″; 22″ blades are available on request. Choose from standard notched blades or specially shaped more aggressive blades.
The applicator can now be equipped with ENDURANCE blades, supplied by the French manufacturer FORGES DE NIAUX. They provide a longer service life than the standard blades thanks to the high blade strength in tough working areas. ENDURANCE blades excel in withstanding extreme impacts and deformations.
SWIFTERDISC XN_Z is only available with hydraulic working depth setting. The working depth is set by placing the required number of integrated spacers on the hydraulic cylinders.
The high speed disc can be equipped with single gauge wheels on request. Provide excellent terrain contouring and maintain the set working depth along the entire width of the machine.

The main frames and other parts of the machine have a hot-dip galvanizing surface treatment.
Provide excellent terrain contouring and maintain the set working depth along the entire width of the machine.
The required working depth is set using integrated hydroclips on the hydraulic cylinder.
Provide rear consolidation and closure of the soil profile for even germination of unwanted cereal seeds and reduced evaporation of soil moisture.

One arm for two blades allows for excellent trash flow. Crop residue such as huge amounts of straw or cornstalks can easily pass through the implement. Most high-speed discs have only one disc blade on each arm. Such design restricts the flow of the material namely in wet conditions or in heavy residue.
Two disc blades per arm design provides twice the space for rubber torsion protection. The rubber elements absorb shocks coming from the blades working the ground. The speed disc works fast and without maintenance even in the most difficult conditions. The elements are made from high quality rubber with a long service life.
Our oblique contact ball bearings are closed by two static and one dynamic cassette seal with four sealing ribs and run in a solid metal body. The hubs are attached to the blade with six bolts. They are oversized to ensure a trouble-free operation.
The main parts of the applicator are hot-dip galvanized and therefore resistant to aggressive slurry. Hot-dip galvanizing increases the resistance of individual parts and contributes to a longer service life of the implement.

The specially shaped disc blades offer a higher cutting and mixing effect. They also penetrate soil better in the dry season. The aggressive blades have a lot of cutting edges along the circumference for easy incorporation of a large quantity of trash. The disc blades are available with a diameter of 20.5″ or 22″ .
The basic configuration of the implement includes standard notched blades with a diameter of 20″. Disc blades with a diameter of 22″ are also available, offering maximum working depth of 5.5″.
The cage packer is made of massive steel rods with a good crumbling effect, particularly when reaching higher working speed. Packer diameter 25″. A suitable design for light soils. Weight: 875 lb/ft.
