The VERSATILL VO_L trailed cultivator provides excellent throughput thanks to shanks arranged in five ranks. The spacing between the individual flex shanks is 6.7″, thanks to which the implement can also be used in conditions with high quantities of trash. 100% shanks overlapping provides excellent undercutting of the soil profile and even cultivation along the entire working width of the implement.
The light and yet robust frame makes VERSATILL VO_L suitable for early spring seedbed preparation. Five ranks of flex shanks can be equipped with different types of points or sweeps. Levelling section or the Crushbar levelling bar can be installed behind the main section in combination with rear rollers, or the cultivator can be equipped with a three-rank tine harrow.
The trailed VERSATILL VO_L field cultivator is fitted with single-spring flex shanks. These shanks are suitable for lighter soils. In case of heavier soils or intense use of the implement for shallow tillage up to 4 in, we recommend using the reinforced Hercules shanks (reinforced double-spring flex shanks).
Flex shanks can be equipped with sweeps or points according to the expected application. The 8″ sweep guarantees 100% overlap. The LONG-LIFE 8″ in sweep has carbide cutting edges that increase its durability. The 2.4″ double-sided points are suitable for early spring seedbed preparation or shallow tillage in lighter soils. We also offer 2″ LONG LIFE chisels with carbide cutting edges.
Soil should be moved as few times as possible, especially during spring cultivation to preserve the winter moisture in soil. The VERSATILL VO_L cultivator can be equipped with the hydraulically-controlled Crushbar levelling bar in the front, the working angle of which can be comfortably controlled from the tractor cabin during work. The implement can be equipped with a second Crushbar levelling bar on request, installed before the rear packers.
The VERSATILL VO_L cultivator can be used for quick shallow tillage after harvest. Thanks to the perfect overlapping of the sweeps, the field is undercut evenly. For intense crop residue processing, namely sunflower or canola, we recommend adding the Trash Cutter cutting roller to VERSATILL VO_L. The small diameter of the cutting roller offers a high circumferential speed, providing a perfect cutting and crushing effect.
The working depth is adjusted via hydraulics from the comfort of the driver’s cab. Hydraulic working depth adjustment is included as standard. The working depth of the VERSATILL VO_L field cultivator is adjusted on the transport axle of the implement and on the axles of the side frames by inserting the necessary number of spacers on hyd.cylinders.
The transport axle is mounted at the centre of the implement, which reduces the turning radius at headland, but above all, allows for work without the rear rollers. Instead of the rear rollers, the cultivator can be equipped with a three-rank tine harrow with mechanical or hydraulic adjustment of the working angle. An ideal implement for mechanical weeding.

The hydraulic cylinder of the drawbar allows excellent terrain contouring. It eliminates tension affecting the drawbar and absorbs shocks, even at high working speeds.

The front, screw-shaped Trash Cutter roller is equipped with sharp blades. The small roller diameter enables to achieve a high circumferential speed. The roller provides an excellent cutting effect in processing the stalks of canola, sunflower, or cover crop. Thanks to that, the crop residue is mixed with soil better, which accelerates its decomposition. The down pressure of the roller is controlled hydraulically from the tractor cabin.
The levelling bar before the rear packers is used for levelling off any unevenness after the shank section. The packers then consolidates the soil but do not level it. The outcome is a perfectly levelled field.

The three-rank harrow is suitable for the final seedbed preparation. It is especially recommended for spring tillage. The working angle can be controlled mechanically or hydraulically.
The levellers along the entire working width of the implement are used for levelling the surface before the rear packer. Suitable equipment for implements used in lighter soils. The leveller angle is set mechanically.
The levellers on the edge of the tools prevent the formation of ridges that occur during follow-up passes.
The U-RING packer is a dual rank steel packer. The ranks are offset, which provides an excellent self-cleaning effect. The packer is great for crumbling, and the U-shape rings and the low risk of clogging make it suitable for work in muddy conditions. The double packer increases implement stability at work. Packer diameter 20″.

Seedbed preparation preparation is an important operation for the formation of a uniform and balanced seedbed prior to crop establishment. Each crop and field requires different seedbed preparation based on the climate, or the chosen date of tillage. The aim of the seedbed preparation is to create an ideal soil structure in the field, with a harder bottom and loose top soil layer, to level the field after previous operations, and to open, warm up and aerate the soil profile for even crop emergence.
