The high underframe clearance in combination with reset protection of each shank also allows work to be carried out in demanding conditions.

The FENIX FO GEN II field cultivator can carry out deep tillage up to the maximum depth of 14″. Deep tilage is recommended especially before seeding deep-root crops, or in the fall, as it prepares the foundation for the formation of a strong root system, through which the plant will absorb water and nutrients. Deep tillage helps achieve an adequate soil structure with the correct size of the individual soil particles, and it appropriately starts the drainage and water supply to the soil.
The design and a wide range of points make the FENIX FO GEN II field cultivator suitable for shallow tillage up to 5.9 inches. We recommend fitting the FENIX FO GEN II field cultivator with chisels and with wings for excellent soil profile tillage. Correctly worked stubble cultivation is important to eliminate the growth of weeds, incorporation of trash into soil, it reduces the evaporation of soil moisture, and helps start new seed growth.
The FENIX FO GEN II cultivator can be equipped with gauge wheels for perfect terrain contouring. They ensure that the field is evenly cultivated at the set working depth along the entire width of the machine.
The FENIX FO GEN II field cultivator has shanks arranged in three rankss, with a spacing of 12.2″ between the individual shanks. This arrangement brings an excellent loosening and mixing effect because the soil is undercut along the entire implement width with subsequent trash mixing.
The FENIX FO GEN II field cultivator can be equipped with four types of points, which let you adjust the implement for deep tillage or shallow tillage after harvest. A correctly selected working point type is also important in terms of the character of the soil to be processed, or the season. There are points with awidth of 3.2″ and 2.4″, or LONG LIFE points at 1.6″ and 3.2″, fitted with carbide tips for higher durability.
Each shank is mounted (not welded) to the main frame of the FENIX FO GEN II by means of a solid bracket. The advantage of this design lies in the high durability of the brackets and the frame. In case of any damage, each bracket can be easily replaced. Each shank is firmly located and its geometry works within accurately defined limits without oscillations and lift.

The FENIX FO GEN II field cultivator is a suitable machine for deep tillage as well as shallow tillage after harvest. The FENIX FO GEN II cultivator can be equipped with a whole range of working parts in relation to the soil character or customer’s requirements. The three ranks of shanks are followed with a levelling section, which can be fitted either with levelling springs or discs.
For perfect soil levelling, the FENIX FO GEN II can be equipped with the Crushbar levelling board mounted in front of the rear rollers. The rear rollers only consolidate the soil and do not level it. The result is perfectly level ground.
The FENIX FO GEN II field cultivator can be equipped with the BEDNAR ALFA DRILL seeder during production, for seeding cover crop and small-seed plants during tillage, all in one pass. The time and fuel savings are considerable.The ALFA DRILL seeder has the same metering unit as the BEDNAR seed drills. Even seed/fertilizer distribution is ensured by the distribution tower. The ALFA DRILL has a volume of 11 bu.

The individual shanks are sprung using a simple maintenance-free reset shank system spring with a downforce force of up to 1,102 lb (double spring), 1,455 lb (hydraulic). This function guarantees a long service life, convenient swing movement of the shanks upwards when in contact with an obstacle and, above all, maintains the constant set working depth of up to 14″ in.

CUTPACK is a heavy steel packer with a high cutting capability and an excellent reverse compaction effect. Suitable for heavy soils. Packer diameter 25″. Weight: 1606 lb/ft (including scrapers). The packer is suitable for use with Zero-Mix shanks.
The Rubber furrow packer is a solid packer made of hard natural rubber, suitable for any conditions. The levelling effect is excellent thanks to the packer weight. Soil adhesion to the packer is almost none thanks to the rubber and scrapers. Packer diameter 23″. Weight: 1570 lb/ft (including scrapers).
V-RING is a heavy steel packer suitable for intense crumbling and reverse soil compaction. The packer is suitable for all types of soil. Packer diameter 25″. Weight: 1222 lb/ft (including scrapers).
V-RING is a packer with individual rings shaped in a V. The packer has an outstandingly low stickiness, which prevents the packer from clogging when wet. The ranks are offset, which provides an excellent self-cleaning effect. The double packer increases machine stability at work. Packer diameter 25″. Weight: 1172 lb/ft.
The U-RING packer is a dual rank steel packer. The ranks are offset, which provides an excellent self-cleaning effect. The packer is great for crumbling, and the U-shape rings and the low risk of clogging make it suitable for work in muddy conditions. The dual packer increases implement stability at work. Packer diameter 23.5″. Weight: 1664 lb/ft.
The leveler in front of the double packers levels any unevenness after the previous section. The packers only consolidate the soil without levelling it. The result is a perfectly level field.
The hydraulic version of the drawbar enables perfect terrain contouring, thus achieving excellent quality of work.

DEEP TILLAGE
FENIX field cultivators are suitable tools for deep tillage up to 14″. The optimally designed layout of the individual shanks provides excellent soil profile undercutting and mixing of crop residue with soil. Deep loosening provides soil with the proper structure, with the properties of a fungus that is able to absorb precipitation and provide water to roots in the dry season.
