BEDNAR supplies machines to all active continents except for South America \u2013 but that is about to change. In the spring of 2015, BEDNAR machines were delivered to the Agricola Rademacher y CIA.LTDA Farm in Chile that manages 2,000 hectares. They grow similar crops as in Europe: cereals, rape, flax and potatoes.<\/h2>\n

Konefarmi Oy has become Strom partner just a few months ago, however few Strom mulchers MO and MZ have already been delivered to maintain Finnish landscapes.\u00a0 The first MZ 6000 was delivered straight to Petteri M\u00e4kel\u00e4\u2019s farm near H\u00e4meenlinna, Finland.\u00a0 Very late and wet spring delayed testing of the machine, however Petteri tried it himself and invited Konefarmi\u2019s personnel to share his impressions.\u00a0 Two journalists from most popular Finnish farming papers and neighboring farmer joined as well.<\/div>\n

Konefarmi is the third largest implements\u2019 distributor in Finland achieving annual sale of more than \u20ac 25 million.\u00a0 Strom is joining the product portfolio along P\u00f6ttinger, McHale, Bergmann, Seko, Unia and others.\u00a0 Mr. Petteri M\u00e4kel\u00e4, loyal customer of the company for many years, runs ecological beef cattle farm, one of the biggest in Finland, on 500 ha.\u00a0 He has put an eye on Strom product even before the companies got together, so no surprise that he became the first customer.\u00a0 The machine shall be used to cut remaining grass after grazing, mulch vegetation at set aside fields, fight spread of dandelions by cutting off their flowering heads.<\/div>\n

Technology of Specific Fertilization with Deep Soil Loosening<\/h2>\n

The technology of deep soil loosening with TERRALAND chisel ploughs complemented with the FERTI-BOX fertilization and soil compaction in dry regions using PRESSPACK is very popular and it is becoming more and more popular outside of Europe.\u00a0\u201cIt\u2019s an integrated system that verifiably increases the yield potential of plants,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>says Jan Bedn\u00e1\u0159, the Export Manager. The technology was developed together with leading Czech farms that also achieve excellent results thanks to the technology. In Chile, a TERRALAND with FERTI-BOX is mainly used for potatoes and rape.<\/p>\n

Control of the second growth with straw harrows<\/h2>\n

<\/p>\n

Last year, BEDNAR introduced the STRIEGEL-PRO 12000 straw harrows. There are two reasons for the use of this type of machine: uniform spreading of post-harvest residues on the lots and control of the fall-out, especially of fine-grained crops such as rape. In Chile, STRIEGEL-PRO works on the rape stubble-field where it replaces stubble cultivation and finely mixes seeds with the soil to start the second growth.<\/p>\n
