Mrs. Ku\u010derovas\u2019 farm can be found in the village of Zichovecnear the town of Slan\u00fd. The owner and her partner manage about 150 hectares of arable soil there. SWIFTERDISC XN Cultivator<\/h2>\n


\nSWIFTERDISC XN 4000<\/span><\/a> is a mounted disc cultivator that provides a quick and quality stubble cultivation at a depth of 12 cm so that fallen out crops and weed seeds can emerge. The smart frame design allows the machine to travel at a speed of 15 km\/h.You can choose between notched discs and A-discs that cut better through soil in the dry season.<\/p>\n

Unlike competitive machines, the cultivator has two working discs attached to one tine. Thus, it does not require such a high pulling force and provides unrivalled material throughput. Mrs. Ku\u010derova\u2019s farm chose notched discs with a diameter of 520 mm and a heavy steel ring packer made of massive steel components.

Cheap and Efficient Stubble Cultivation<\/h2>\n


\nWe found the delivered SWIFTERDISC XN<\/span><\/a> cultivator working on the second cultivation of a wheat stubble field and Mr. \u0160vajka, the operator and agronomist, told us:\u201cThe first stubble cultivation is done to a depth of 5 cm, travelling at a speed of 12km\/h. I cultivate an area of about 40 ha with a width of 4 metres, the fuel consumption is 6.5 litres per hectare. During the second cultivation, I set the working depth at 10 cm, travel at a speed of 13km\/h and the tractor uses 8.5 litres. The structure of the land that we manage contains 60% of red soil.\u201d<\/em>

Why SWIFTERDISC XN 4000 <\/h2>\n


\n\u201cWe tested the disc cultivator last year, after a poppy harvest, in preparation for oilseed rape. We also tested competitive machines under the same conditions. SwifterDisc was the only machine that was able to cut both disc rows in the hard layer and managed to process the area to our satisfaction. About the Family Farm<\/h2>\n


\nThe farm mostly grows wheat, which covers an area of 90 ha, then winter oilseed rape on an area of 40 ha, and poppy and mustard on a low scale. The crop this year was 6.8 tonnes of wheat and 4.3 tonnes of oilseed rape per hectare. When we visited, there was about 20 ha of mustard to be harvested.
