\u201cWe grow standard market crops such as wheat, barley, rye, rapeseed, corn and potatoes. Kosova Hora uses disc cultivators by various manufacturers. \u201cWe were planning to renew our fleet and so we gradually tested the disc cultivators before buying a new machine. There were various machines, among others and also the SWIFTERDISC XO_F<\/a> disc cultivator by BEDNAR. In the end, we decided to buy a SWIFTERDISC XO_F with a span of 6 metres. And why this machine? We liked the versatility of the machine and its possible use not only for stubble breaking, but also for seedbed cultivation. The company manages soils that are hard to cultivate, with a topsoil layer of 20 cm and a large number of stones. According to the operator, the hydraulic drawbar is a great advantage in this case. \u201cThe disc cultivator perfectly traces any terrain unevenness. The machine is able to \u2018jump\u2019 over any larger rocks in case of impact and thus prevent damage,\u201d<\/em> the operator adds.<\/p>\n

They chose SWIFTERDISC XO 6000F<\/a> especially thanks to the possible aggregation with a lower-performance tractor. At the time of our visit, the cultivator was working with a 270 HP tractor. The working speed was about 14.5 km\/h and the working depth was set to 6 cm.
