It was already the third meeting of the all-European network of the sales representatives and dealers of the agricultural machinery of the STROM Export company that took place at the TOP Hotel in Prague on October 2, 2012 after the gala evening; this company will carry a new name of STROM-BEDNAR next year. The whole event was focused on the introduction and presentation of new business plans, enlargement plan of the manufacturing plant, introduction of the new system of work with spare parts and ultimately introducing of novelties in the company’s portfolio for 2013.
Intensive training in the castle style
The main part of the training took place in the beautiful areas of the castle of Ctěnice (part of the capital of Prague), including adjacent areas and gardens. Total 10 training sites were successively visited by groups of business representatives from different European regions. In addition to the traditional range of machines, the novelties for the next year 2013, including the development plan of new types of machines that may influence the market in the agricultural machinery in the following years were first formally introduced.

1st novelty of 2013
The first novelty is the 4-row universal cultivator with a thoughtful placement of working ploughs with the designation of Fenix FO. The fundamental innovation is the axle located in the centre of the machine, which hereby allows both work without rear pack rollers and also noticeably narrower turning radius. The great advantage of the machine is its compact length of only 7.9 m and a high flotation of the machine. The machine can be equipped with the seeding unit ALFA for sowing of catch crops and grasses, which is a novelty in the field of accessories.

2nd novelty of 2013
The second novelty for the next year is the disc cultivator of the short concept Swifterdisc XO_F which enables quick and perfect stubble up to the speed of around 20 km/h due to its unique design. The axle is placed in front of the rear rollers, thereby providing a perfect stability. Each tine is secured by a maintenance-free system of silentblocks and fitted with two disks that are mounted on maintenance-free bearings. The machine can be equipped with indented disks with constant geometry, or aggressive A-discs (diameter 520×5 mm), which can better cut crop residues and yield a larger amount of clay. This results in significantly better mixing of plant residues with the soil. The machine can be equipped with the seeding unit ALFA for sowing of catch crops and grasses, which is a novelty in the field of accessories.

3rd novelty of 2013
As the last, two types of connecting pack rollers were introduced, which may be attached to the chisel plough Terraland TO, or may be used separately. The first of the pack rollers called CUTTERPACK consists of 2 rows of cutter discs with the self-cleaning ability and is designed for crushing lumps. Another type of the packer roller is PRESSPACK that is composed of two rows of steel rings designed for sowing preparation of especially heavy soil types.

“The year 2012 was already several times the most successful year in the company history. The growth is supported by the intensive work of our team that is constantly looking for such solutions that make the work with the soil more efficient, cheaper and best user-friendly. We are trying to impress these attributes to our machines. This is the basis of the success completed with the prompt service, which is needed in agriculture,” said Jan Bednář, the Export Sales Manager of the company STROM BEDNAR at the event.
