We visited Mr. Ladislav Kop\u0159iva in Olbramice in the Olomouc Region. He manages 20 hectares of land. \u201cI started farming ten years ago on an area of 0.5 hectare. We are a family of farmers so land passes from generation to generation. I\u2019ve always been close to farming, I used to work as a tractor driver. Today, I manage 20 hectares of land. I mostly grow winter wheat, winter rapeseed, malt barley and potatoes, all in medium-heavy soil. Last year, I achieved an average yield of 8 t\/ha of wheat, 6 t\/ha of barley and 3.2 t\/ha of rapeseed\u201d<\/em>, Mr. Ladislav Kop\u0159iva says.<\/p>\n

Mr. Kop\u0159iva uses a John Deere 5100R as the main tractor at his farm. \u201cEven though I use standard tillage in the fields, I needed a cultivator to meet the agronomic deadlines, especially during the harvest season. I borrowed a FENIX last autumn and saw that it did not have any issues in our conditions, even with a relatively small tractor with 110 HP. The FENIX can cultivate soil at to a good quality, aerate it in depth, mix and prepare for seeding in one pass. I also use it for levelling the coarse furrow and headland. The FENIX FN_L is a universal, three-row cultivator that offers many possibilities of use during the year, from shallow stubble breaking and medium-depth aeration to deep loosening.
